TOOL search_devices

MCP tool that searches the public register by UDI-DI, trade name, or SRN. Argument q is required. limit defaults to 10 and caps at 25.

No auth. Same rows as GET /v1/search. This tool does not take status, risk, or page. Call the REST route for those filters.

Arguments: q (required), limit (optional, default 10, maximum 25).

The text payload is the search object: results, total, match, error. isError is true only when error is set. HTTP status stays 200. The call itself is POST /mcp.
